We look straight down onto a raw concrete surface in an underground Bronx basement, where a setup of classic Technics turntables and a mixer sit ready, heavy with the texture of dust and grime. This is the source of the beat.
The Translation: The records spin, locked into the groove. Their labels feature an intricate traditional Chinese dragon motif on a field of Jade Green, representing vitality and wisdom. Centered on the label is a red traditional chop stamp with the character for "FLOW" (流 - Liú). It is a reminder that in both combat and music, tempo is everything. If you are off-beat, you are defeated.
